So you wanna know...
How does it work?
True to its name, Flower Potluck, is a potluck!
Bring some flowers
These can be store bought, from the farmers market, plucked from your garden or respectfully foraged! Also bring a vessel for your arrangement, a vase, or get creative (coffee can?)! We provide sheers, floral wire, and floral tape.
Make a sliding scale donation
($15 +) at the door, and after combining our flowers + a flower arranging tutorial, build your arrangement.
Snap a pic
of your floral design and tag us. We’ll have a pedestal + photo backdrop for you to document your arrangements and pose with your floral baby. We’re excited to use our IG to showcase your designs.

Where do donations go?
All donations go to the organization of the “season", 3 Flower Potlucks = 1 season. Some of the organizations we’ve raised money for in the past include:Palestinian Youth Movement
Atlanta Solidarity Fund
DC Abortion Fund
Who started Flower Potluck?
We Did!
MarÃaEmilia believes in the magic of third spaces to build community and organize. She's discovered how much we can learn about power, respect, gentleness, beauty, and pleasure from flowers. She loves a freaky, sinister-looking orchid.
Maddie delights in bringing people together to play and be creative. Her love of flowers traces all the way back to childhood, making arrangements with her florist nana, June. She believes flower arranging can be a meditative practice for getting in touch with your desires, crafting things to your personal taste and following what you find beautiful. They love a frilly iris or a reflexed tulip.
